Thunderclap: #StopYulin

Every year in southern province of Guanxi the YuLin Dog Meat festival takes place. Over 10,000 dogs and cats are slaughtered, many of them stray or stolen pets.

They are eaten as part of 'tradition' that is believed will keep spirits away and diseases at bay.

They believe the more the dog is tortured the tastier the meat this means many are skinned and even boiled alive and suffer a prolonged horrendous death.

Please sign the Humane Society International's petition now to urge the Yulin authorities to intervene and end mass dog slaughter in the name of a festival.
