Spiced Pumpkin Waffles
For a cozy fall breakfast or brunch, these Spiced Pumpkin Waffles are a must. They have the wonderful flavor of pumpkin and warm spices in them. Put your favorite toppings on them and enjoy
Ingredients:
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 2 large eggs
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Put the pumpkin puree, eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract in a large bowl
Mix the brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves with a whisk in a different bowl
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones while stirring them together
Watch out not to mix too much; its okay to have some lumps
Follow the directions on the package to heat up your waffle iron and lightly grease it
Put the right amount of batter on the waffle iron that has already been heated up and then close the lid
Take them out of the oven when theyre golden brown and crisp
You can top the warm Spiced Pumpkin Waffles with maple syrup, whipped cream, chopped nuts, or anything else you like
