Blue Cheese Biscuit Waffles with Buffalo Chicken
These blue cheese biscuit waffles are a tasty take on regular waffles. They come with spicy buffalo chicken, crunchy celery, red onions, and creamy ranch dressing on top. Great for a unique brunch or snack on game day.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cooked and shredded chicken
- 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
- 1/4 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing
Instructions:
Add the milk, melted butter, eggs, baking powder, and salt to a bowl and whisk them together until everything is well mixed
Follow the directions that came with your waffle iron to get it hot
After the waffle iron is hot, pour the batter into it and cook until golden brown and crispy
In a different bowl, mix the buffalo sauce with the cooked and shred chicken
Toss the chicken to make sure it is evenly coated
Put the blue cheese biscuit waffles on a plate and top with the buffalo chicken
Add diced celery and red onion on top
Pour ranch dressing over the top before serving
