Thai Basil Chicken Pad Krapow Gai
Thai Chicken Pad with Basil Krapow Gai is a spicy Thai stir-fry dish made with ground chicken, basil, and fragrant spices. Its easy to make and tastes great, making it perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients:
- 300g ground chicken
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2-3 Thai birds eye chilies, minced adjust to taste
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat
Add minced garlic and chilies, and saut for about 1 minute until fragrant
Add the ground chicken and cook until its no longer pink, breaking it apart with a spatula
Stir in oyster sauce, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar
Mix well
Pour in chicken broth and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes
Add fresh basil leaves and stir-fry until they wilt and become fragrant
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Serve hot with steamed rice
