Dry Erase Slow Cooker Magnets
Tender chunks of beef simmered in a flavorful sauce, this slow cooker recipe is not only delicious but also convenient. The added benefit of dry erase magnets makes it easy to keep track of your cooking process
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs beef chuck roast, cut into chunks
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions:
Place beef chunks, onion, and garlic in the slow cooker
In a separate bowl, mix beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and ginger
Pour over the beef
Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until beef is tender
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water until smooth
Stir into the slow cooker
Cook for an additional 30 minutes on high, or until the sauce has thickened
Serve over rice, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions
